This comprehensive and effective challenge will tighten your mid-section by helping you lose belly fat and tone your abs! It combines the fun and accessibility of a short-term challenge as well as the accountability and success factor of coaching.
You'll get progressive daily workouts that you can do independently or combined with your regular workout for extra effectiveness. Workouts can be done at home or at your gym. No extra equipment is needed. You'll also have weekly nutrition challenges that make all the difference in fat loss. Best of all, you'll have a coach by your side (via email) to answer questions, keep you motivated, and make sure you start your 2016 with SUCCESS!
The workouts are challenging but doable whether you are just getting started or have exercised for years. The workouts include short videos to make sure you're performing the exercises correctly. Your coach will help you modify exercises if necessary. The workout portion of this challenge combines cardio, interval training, and toning (specifically core exercises.)
As with all Challenge: Charity challenges, 50% of what you pay goes directly to help better the life of someone else. For this challenge, 50% of revenues will go to buildOn to build a primary school in Nepal. 200 Mile Trekking Challenge

I challenge YOU to walk 200 miles
We aren't counting steps. This isn't about parking a little further away from the grocery store or getting up from your desk more often (although those are good things.) This is about putting one foot in front of the other and deliberately walking miles. It is about connecting with your neighborhood, local trails, urbanscapes, parks. It is about exploring the world around you, delighting in the details that can only be seen on-foot, discovering a deeper life experience.
Challenge: Charity's 200 Mile Trekking Challenge begins Monday, February 22. You need nothing but a good pair of walking shoes, commitment, a sense of adventure, and a desire to be stronger, leaner, healthier.
Here are the details:
200 Mile Trekking Challenge
- February 22 - June 5: 15 weeks to walk 200 miles. That's 105 days, so challenge teammates will average 2 miles per day with 5 days off.
- All walks done on your schedule at your desired location. This challenge can fit into any work or life environment, including one with travel.
- Coach-led discussions on proper gait, tempo, and breathing.
- Sub-challenges throughout the 15 weeks, including photography scavenger hunts, walking meditations, daily distances, nutrition, etc.
- Coach and group accountability. Lots and lots of it!
- Team connection and sharing of accomplishments and information through private Google Group emails and a private Facebook Group.
- 15 Week Custom Calendar for planning distances and tracking mileage.
- Weight Loss contest - whether losing weight is your goal or not, you will shed pounds. It will be fun to see who makes the biggest transformation!
